Lisa Fernandez, Principal of The Magnet School of Global and Ethical Studies statement.
P.S. 119 is a community that educates for a culture of peace and understanding. Our community is committed to teaching every child utilizing a holistic approach. Our goal is to create well-rounded, socially aware students who have an enthusiasm for learning, pride of accomplishments, self-discipline, self-esteem, and consideration for the ideas and values of others. Educating for a culture of peace and understanding is being stressed throughout the school community. Working together to believe and achieve is the global idea for our school. We are a community that thinks globally and acts locally. P.S. 119 is located in Midwood, Brooklyn, New York City.
