In my art making process I am interested in using techniques that were influenced 
by my ancestors to weave together historical and spiritual traditions of African 
Aesthetics with my own personal narratives to establish a deeper understanding, 
memory and artistic sense, which then allows me the liberty to explore "Who I am", 
Who I can be" and "What I can speak for or against?"
