"Coo" 2006 Sound and video installation The flapping and cooing of birds comes from various places inside a cavernous cement boiler building. The sounds are not entirely convincing, and upon closer listening are discovered to be human attempts at birdcalls. |

"Untitled" 2004 Projected video, vents, carved foam, joint compound. Video of smoke is projected so that it seems to come from vents inserted into the walls of the room. In corners of the room where actual smoke might collect, the hard-edged corners have been rounded by filling them with carved foam. |

(not yet titled) 2007 Projected video (6' high), dollhouse window (5" tall), wire, vellum, clip light, fan. A small window appears to cast a moving light pattern onto the wall perpendicular to it. A clip lamp shines through the small window, and paper and wire "leaves" are blown by an oscillating fan. | |

"Mining the Gap" 2005 Ventilation grate (20 x 20"), drywall, fiberglass insulation, wires, mirrors, wallpaper, and audio (2 speakers). Daylight and sound filter through a ventilation grate, revealing a passage through the wall and a skewed view of the bus stop outside. The passage is the interior of a periscope built behind the gallery wall. |
