My work explores the nonsensical nature of the world.  I am interested in the absurdity 
and contradictions of daily life -  monsters hidden in brightly colored packaging, the 
dark underside of a carnival or circus, the maniacal nature of a household pet, the raw 
emotion that seeps through a perfectly manicured facade.  The bright flat colors of 
acrylic paint, mass-produced packaging materials, tin foil, cotton and other household 
items inspire me.
