PERSONAL HISTORY: 

Born in Caracas, Venezuela on Oct. 29th 1974, Carlos J. Gomez de Llarena is 
engaged on exploring the ways in which digital media affects social relationships 
and space. He works with a diverse pallete of tools including space, video, sound, 
web and programming. His work has been shown in the Museum of Contemporary Art of 
Caracas, ResFest, The BitScreen, The Dallas Video Festival, galleries and raves. 
His background is on architecture and he is currently attending a Master's program 
at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, NY where he is elaborating a 
research on the relations between space and information. He also performs as a VJ 
on several places in NYC like The Void.
