Knowing Meghan Anderson is knowing her paintings; knowing that her actions originate from a single place of authenticity, her artwork being simply a flower from the same stem. Meghan is an artist who's work flows holistically from who she is in a journal of emotional experience onto the canvas. She began painting in the course of self-discovery, encompassing as subjects her relationships, her environment, her capacity to nurture, and expressing them, literally, in the colors through which she sees life. With rare sincerity, her approach is a natural extention of the words she chooses when she speaks, the way she interacts with people, and her truthful embrace of her own process. For Meghan, art is an expression of life, but only a part of a life in New York City that includes nursing school, stained glass, cats and copious amounts of guacamole.
